Governance
Orio has been wholly owned by the Swedish state since 2012. The head office is located in Nyköping together with a logistics and distribution center. The company also has offices in Trollhättan and operations with its own sales offices via wholly owned subsidiaries in North America, UK, Germany and Switzerland.
The Ministry of Finance primarily uses three tools to govern state-owned companies: the composition of the Board, auditors and transparency.
The Board of Directors reports annually through a corporate governance report, and continuously on the company’s website, on how the corporate governance is functioning and how the company is applying the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance. Orio AB was transferred to the Swedish government at turn of the year 20122013. The conduct of corporate governance of the company will therefore be summarised as a formal report starting the financial year 2013. The corporate governance for 2012 is presented only on the company’s website.
